Woodlands Tea Room
First established in 1954 the Santon Bridge Gift Shop supplied the local community and the visitors at that time with a range of local products and hot drinks sold from a flask.
Set in such a peaceful location, surrounded by wildlife, and situated at the foot of the Wasdale valley, the gift shop has been extended over the years to include a tearoom and a dog friendly space for people to sit and enjoy a variety of home-made dishes served from breakfast through to early evening.
Our tea room
Our menus include options for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea as well as great coffee and homemade cakes.
Themed Evenings
We also offer evening dining for special events and at certain times in the year.
Take Away
The majority of the items on our menu, are available to take away at anytime or can be delivered in the local area by arrangement. We can cater to larger groups of 8 or more for takeaway lunches and afternoon teas but to ensure we can provide the items you are requesting we recommend that you book with us the day before.
Catering and Events
We cater to a wide range of events, including children’s parties, tapas nights, business lunches and outdoor picnics and provide a range of options for pick up or delivery (a small charge may apply).
